While visiting the old Bethel Cemetery, we ran across this tree that grew right into the fence. Pretty amazing we thought. The fence possibly dates back as far as 1852. Photo taken 7/11/08 in Maypearl, TX. Post processed with Dynamic Photo HDR.

I have a similar story myself, a neighbour cut down a large Eucalyptus and in the middle of the tree (when he was grinding the stump out) he came across an old AXE HEAD! We weren’t able to get any photos unfortunately, and have no idea how long ago the axe head was first put in the tree!
Thanks Kylie, that would have been something to see!
