Best Nap Spot In The House

Challenge Win
1st Place – Funny Places Ferrets End Up Challenge in Ferret Family Group

This is Rocco when he was only about 6 months old. The Ferret Nation cage was sitting in front of the window, he climbed up the back to get on the windowsill to take a nap. We couldn’t find him, searched everywhere. Ferrets can find places to sleep you never knew existed, trust me. We peeked behind the cage and there he was, fast asleep on the window sill, on top of the “too-long-for-the window” blinds. Rocco is now 2 1/2 years old and just as gorgeous as he was here. He is such a sweet little guy. This is for the Funny places ferrets end up challenge in the Ferret Family group

Thank you…we have lost three ferrets this year…four total…they are so precious and so easy to fall in love with…they are known as little thieves…and the first they steal is your heart…then they take a big part of it with them when they go…I can’t imagine my life without ferrets!!

Is’nt this cute! Love it! I had one hide out for a week.He had me worried to death. I found him snoozing in the camper trailer surviving on tid-bits. LOL!

Awwwwwwe Glenna he is so gorgeous, – lovely capture!!!!

  • Glenna Walker replied

You should get at least two Kate. They will make you laugh like you thought you never could. They are great anti-depressants too, bad day at work, or just bad day in general, watch these guys at play and you’ll soon forget all about any whoa’s you may have had. Thanks Kate!

What an awesome catch Glenna. I ended up finding a better home for my Kenji. We were working too much to give him the time he really needed. Took the cat awhile before she stopped grieving over him.

  • Glenna Walker replied

That’s great you were able to find Kenji another home. I hope he’s doing ok. Ferrets bond with their first-time owners, and don’t do so well with the new owners. They can become depressed, stop eating/drinking, and die. If Kenji is young, he should do ok. Keep check on him. Poor kitty, I bet he did miss little Kenji. I could not part with my babies. Thank you Heather!

Awwwww .. Rocco is still as beautiful as ever!!! This is adorable! I guess they can sleep practically anywhere… just like kitties!!! I love this! xx

  • Glenna Walker replied 25 days ago

Yes they can sleep anywhere…they are very much like kitties…most kitties won’t take much off of a ferret I hear…the ferret never gives up…the kitty will…LOL…ferrets aren’t afraid of anything…they love and trust anything and everything…that’s why they must be kept indoors…thank you Laurie…good to hear from you!...oh and Rocco is so cuddly and loveable :)
