Call for submission for the NAVA 2008 Christmas Card Competition
Entries close Thursday 6th November 2008.

If you are a visual arts, craft or design practitioner we are offering an unique opportunity to promote your work at a national and international level through being selected to feature on the NAVA Christmas Card. Artists selected for past NAVA Christmas cards include Kate Rohde, Louiseann Zahra, and Kyle Jenkins.

All you have to do is create your own Artist Profile on the NAVA website, and upload up to 10 images and an artist statement. Once you have done this, or if you already have an Artist Profile, email admin@visualarts.net.au to let us know you would like to be considered for selection.

After the close of competition, one image will be selected from all artist submissions to the Artist Gallery. The selected artwork will be featured on the 2008 NAVA Christmas Card.

You must be a current NAVA member to be eligible for this competition.

How do you enter? It’s really easy:
1. Click here
2. Log-in to the website using your User Name and Password (or ‘Register’ online see below for details)
3. Go to the Artist Gallery and create your own Artist Profile, or update your existing one.
4. Upload up to 10 images of your artwork and an artist statement.
5. It’s important to let NAVA know you want to be considered for selection – so email admin@visualarts.net.au

Terms and conditions of entry
- Entries close 5pm Thursday 6th November 2008
- You must be a current NAVA member to be eligible for this competition.
- Only one artwork will be chosen, and NAVA’s decision is final.
- Copyright remains with the artist, and NAVA will pay a licensing fee of $200+GST to the winning entrant for the use of the image.
- The image will only be used for the NAVA 2008 Christmas Card and not on any other promotional material for NAVA.
- Entries will only be accepted by email, and through the Artist Profile
- Any entries sent through the post will be invalid.
- Any entries that are sent as attachments to an email will be invalid.

If you do not have an Artist Profile
1. Click here to register to create an artist profile
2. Enter your email address in the email field (the email address that is linked to your NAVA membership – ie the email address that your NAVA ebulletin is sent to)
3. An email will then be sent to you with a link that will take you to your new profile!
