I created this a few years ago using this and a picture of a lizard for reference.
My whippets always reminded me of dragons.
As with most of my work I see the potential in a photo first and go from there although the finished piece often bears little or no resemblance to its source.

It’s a little disheartening after spending a week on an image to have so few people actually look at it. 40 views in three days, and most of them from me.
