Lovely Background and print. Love your portfolio. The Tarot fool is nogenerally depicted as a fool of the Royal Court. The Mountains are correct however. In the Tarot (interpretations) the fool is one who looks off into space blissfully unaware that they walk along the edge of a precipice. ie not a brave person in the face of near disaster, but a “fool” in not having a care for the risk or danger. In real life, the fool is actually the wise man , whose words are only heard as foolishness. Of course this is art, not philosophy or occult. Beautiful work. Bravo.

Lovely! the best drawing I ever made with charcoal was of Nijinsky in this role…he was an incredible artist, with the kind of vague sadness that made him so perfect for this role!

    Hi Ivy….
The Fool is there, alluring and inviting to break the moulds and labels of the existence.Pure energy, primordial, contributes to transcend Time and Space in all souls. And eventually can lead us to madness….or distorsion of the reality.
I love this one, dancing, alone, quite theatrical, he has tenderness, and is coquette, bit of androginous, and it should be, more a performer than a usual wonderer, plaing his music with the dancing bells.
I invite you to submmit him to Tarot: Map of Consciousness and of course all of your Tarot works that are truly fantastically rendered.
The only thing….for the submmission is to write a description for them in order to make anyone to “learn” about their meaning and the source of inspiration.
    A hug!
    Rosa
