I began my interest in photography at 11 years of age
And my first camera was a Kodak instamatic with a square format
112 color slide film.
It wasnt long after this that I realised that photography was going to be a life long passion.
I grew up surrounded by photographers and artists; influenced by my father and grandfather.
I bought my first film SLR on my 17th birthday and there the adventure into serious film photography began.
Then in 1980 I bought a canon A1, several prime lens, and flash.
I am mostly a self taught photographer who enjoys landscape, street and people photography.
I do not care for rules and constantly think and create outside the box when photographing people in semi formal settings
on the streets.
I use Nikon equipment and sigma lens now; and have converted entirely to digital.
I am very comfortable with capture NX and Adobe photoshop to assist
me in creative post processing.
