Grabbed my attention as soon as I opened your portfolio, Chloe! Love the textures in the foreground, and the way you’ve framed the background, the clouds add an extra wonderful element. Only crit is the horizon isn’t level, and there’s a dust spot or two visible in the sky! You’ve got a beauty here, once those are fixed!

I was the same as Mel on this one. I spotted it straight away in your gallery as it’s very much a high impact, aesthetically pleasing image. The way you’ve framed the shot and used the lines of the rocks to draw you in to the features in the background works a charm. As Mel also said, the horizon not being straight and the spots either on the lens or the sensor are a bit of a distraction, but these are things that can easily be fixed and the image itself stands alone as a wonderful landscape image. You’ve done very well here.

The colors are amazing, but the sky is what caught my attention. The texture of the foreground sets the photo off with everything else meshing in. I can’t believe you are only 17! Keep at it, Chloe… you’ve got a good eye!
