What a GORGEOUS winter scenic ILpo! I have been anxiously awaiting these same conditions in Canada but haven’t lucked out yet. It’s supposed to snow for the next 4-5 days so maybe soon :)

Oh, magnificent colours and technique. It has a refreshing sense of unreality and beauty to my eyes-coming from the southern hemisphere where the light and weather patterns are so different. Lapland looks like a fairytale paradise. The blue diagonal shadows and the fence pointing and inviting the viewer into exploring the image are wonderful devices that captivate the viewer. I find snow scenes such as yours to be utterly magical with a deep sense of stillness and calm that over rides any feelings of cold I may have and this one is my favourite of yours so far because of your use of that very interesting fence in the scene.
It is like I am under a winter spell when I view it. Thanks for the experience.
