this was two single shots, blended and cleaned up using Photoshop, i then made three exposures in CS3 of +2, 0, -2….i used photomatix to tone map and give me an hdr image. Using photo shop i used levels adjustment to boost contrast, i used an overlay layer set to about 3% opacity to give a depth to the colour and contrast, i did a little sharpening and also a duplicate layer with a poster edge artistic filter, to help bring out the detail of the wood. I finished off with the usual dodge and burn which really brings a HDR to life….i also tinkered with the colour balance to add a little warmth and dropped the saturation a little.
Great shot would you do me a favour and add HDR processing details to the image, things like how many exposures, tripod or handheld, software being used etc , this will allow me to add to the HDR Photography Group
