Kimmeridge Bay

This is my first shot using my new camera,

I had drove 130 mile to this spot, eager to play with my camera, only to be greeted by an overcast flat sky and rain showers, i was just about to call it a day when the sun broke through the clouds, it lasted for a brief 2 mins.

Canon 50D, nd x7, two nd grad filters, f-11, iso 100, 13mm, long exp noise red on, canon 10-22mm.

ps. i like my new toy

    This is superb.
I love the details in those rocks, and the sheen that comes off them makes them so crisp and clean. The rocks on thier own almost make a photo.
Do you notice the difference the full frame sensor makes.

  • igotmeacanon replied

i didnt think the 50d was a full frame sensor

Guess I misread your notes. Doh!
    I read it as 5D, not 50D.
Guess you can pretend by putting black texta on the 0.
Anyway, it is a shit hot shot with that camera in the detail it gives.
    Good luck with more shots.
