Messier 63 (or NGC 5505) aka “Sunflower”. A spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. About 37 million light years from us.

6 hours of exposition (36 frames by 10 minute @ iso800, during two nights)

Equipment: Canon 350D(mod), Newton 250mm/1200mm telescope, Baader MPCC coma corrector. EQ6PRO mount with auto-guiding.
