What Noon Mean As Teenage - The Night of Asthma Attacks

The ‘Night Noon’ has to hold special time in my heart
during teenage years living at Mississippi home

I awaken though the nights can not breath, felt
My chest tightened as I tried to breaths air in-and-out of my mouth
Like flat tire on a car

Breath air in-and-out from a tight squeeze makes rattle sound
Like a car that you can hear moving along

My mother and father heard my breathing rattle sounds to
Their room as they put on their clothing to take me to the hospital
Where I have gone many times before

I gathering my mind make leap to walk to the car as I quickly sit
in the backseat
Sit on the edge of the backseat with my fingers pressure clawed
into the car seat as I lend forward struggle for breath

Sit of the edge of the car backseat struggle for breath
as my fingers clawed into the seat as father driving
on Mississippi country highway road, pitch-black, with street lights
to be seen but father’s car light

Sit of the edge of car backseat struggle for breath
as my fingers clawed into the seat as I starred out-of-the-car widow
at the shinning ‘Noon’ in the sky above the tall pine trees

For me, ‘Noon’ followed me in the car to the hospital
serve as my ‘Noon Shining Angle’
