Happy new year Ian : )

Love this capture lovely natural light and that stare. I think I could just about cope under his stare. Would offer him a nice mug of tea and a biscuit to mellow him a bit.
As to the crop option I prefer the fuller framed image as find the bit taken off his cap not quiet right, like you have not placed him in the frame right if that makes sense.

  • Hi Karen, Happy New Year to you and Simon. You are a sweetie and I think the tea and bickie might work!!! lol

    Great portrait Ian.
    My opinion on the crop.
Instead of squaring it up like you have, I think taking some of the blue off the right side (almost to his jacket) might even intensify the “stare” even more.
    Just my opinion mind you.

  • Hi Garth, thanks a lot for the feedback mate. I will play with it before I put it in some comps!!
Happy New Year to you :))…….Ian
