Dianne and I went to the Sydney Royal Easter Show on Saturday April 16. It was a very wet day (often rains at this school holiday time of year).

This show is a great place for families to have fun and learn about our rural life etc.

I took my camera and decided to keep my 50mm f1.4 lens on all day to take some in camera creative shots. Had a lot of fun and didn’t get picked up for looking too professional with a long lens.

This was a “from the hip shot” and the shot has had only minor editing in CS5.

AWESOME IMAGE IAN … from the hip even … looks like you were panning with the subject, the background movement really makes the subject stand out, and how fabulous that the movement of the clasped hands matched the camera’s … you must be feeling very pleased indeed with this shot!

  • I am Carol and thanks a million. I felt the hands were the focal point before the face. Always love your considered comments!!
