Idoru

Well i’ve just joined RedBubble now, and it seems like the perfect website for me! A friend told me about it, and I’m so glad she did. I have been exploring my creative side for a couple of years now, all areas, but I haven’t had an outlet for it, I mean I’ve just been doing all this on my own, no art classes, no craft groups, no friends who are artistic too, so to have a whole community of artistic types here is amazing. I have had a brief look around the artworks already here and the t-shirts, and I’m amazed. There is such talent here, I feel awed and a little overwhelmed. I will upload a couple of my drawings/sketches, but I don’t really understand fully how it works yet. I don’t really have a favourite medium in art, as I’m still exploring what is available. I do know that I like using charcoal and pastels, I love the shading that you are able to do, and I love the look of the finished product. I also like watercolour and most recently fine ink drawings. I got for my birthday/christmas a $70 voucher for an art shop, so I went there the other day and it was so fun being let loose in the store!
Well that’s about it for now, I will go and explore the site some more.. I’m looking forward to getting to know some people here. xoxo
