"BE STILL"

mixed media on paper done for a show called artistic alchemy. it follows the lines of most of my work which is all about transformation. the way i see it, i am the by product of the alchemical process. i am in constant change. sometimes the change is not as quick as i’d like it to be like my art which always demands way more time and self than i REALLY want ….. so i had the humor. since i work through my intuition i never know quite where i am headed until it unfolds before me. working in layers allows for adding to a piece again and again sometimes over long periods, sometimes not. this piece is one started a few years ago. i think i am over it. it’s time to…..BE STILL.
