So my name’s Michelle.
With a camera I’m lost,
and my eyes start to open
To the design in the detail.
I am an amateur photographer.
I’m teaching myself Photoshop and graphic design,
though are we ever finished?
I love to see the design in the detail,
so I’m often found scrunched up on the ground,
balancing on my toes, or
staring into a puddle
searching for something others have missed.
My equipment is nothing much, not even a proper SLR,
but my passion is endless.
I make cards out of my images to fundraise for local and overseas aid and/or mission work. All profits from Red Bubble go to support Hope Street, working with the homeless in Inner Sydney.
Why photography? . . .
It brings me back to The Maker. I see beautiful intricate design. I see purpose.
If I can show the beauty and design in a flower, or a shell, which are a dime a dozen, then maybe I can show you the beauty and design in you. You truly are a masterpiece, created by The Artist. You are a beautiful detail.
