Wild South
One of my personal favorites.
This picture taken in a rodeo (during the lasso tournament) in the south of Brazil. The cowboys are called “gauchos”, and this one is dressed typically. This type of large trousers are called “bombachas”.
Captured at 300mm in negative film and then scanned.

No need to go to Uruguay, MiguelNunez – I’m living in Rio Grande do Sul, southern most state of Brazil. We make border with Uruguay and we’re full of gauchos here as well (including me :) ).
