A Sugar Paper Dream by Tamsin George

Photographic Prints

Available to buy on…

I made this piece by cutting furniture shapes out of sugar paper, a chair and a desk. I then scanned them onto the computer and arranged a composition on Photoshop. For me, this piece represents sitting back and thinking about your childhood, reminiscing on memories of happiness. I used 3 colours in the piece to keep it simple, giving it a naïve style. The texture created by using sugar paper adds another dimension to A Sugar Paper Dream, making it look very tactile. It is a piece for the viewers to get involved with and make personal to themselves. I hope you all enjoy it :)
