this reminds me of ””thistles” that grow wild in and around my area…. 3 feet tall …jagged leaves…twisted knarled stems…. most find them ugly an annoyance…but when they bloom… only the thistle posses’s such a beautiful color…. i love them… and this…........b

Firstly the texture here is outstanding. I have the need to reach and run my hand across the surface allowing my fingers as much excitement and wonder as my eyes. The title makes this piece go from outstanding to extraordinary as it mirrors something that one would usually never think in terms of flowers. (Thank all for not being usual)
