The colours of Love - Mother and child
It all started with a TV screen shot. I got then inspired to start a series of compositions called The colours of love. This artwork is the first in this series. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it.

Love..the shadow effect this has…it shows their features well and i also like how you gave some flowers more of a burst of color..pleasing to the eyes!

You have created this magic bubble between the mother and child, not sure how it comes through for me, I think its the greyish vacuumous background, it’s like a space where you can see them talking to each othe. And the expressions displayed open this “dialogue” up for interpretations. Excellent placements/arrangements of each individual, also beautiful interpretive work of the flowers – by the child the flowers still soft, malleable, room for growth, and then leading through the sweetest interpretion of, in particular, a female who has given birth, strong flower image, sorry about the long description … great composition.

Yes, you’re right about coloration being intentionally done more towards the mother, where the love comes from primarily. The child in general, as she/he grows, becomes more and more “detached” from the family.

I did a few screen shots for my compositions too,as for «Sad» and«Envious» ,but this is superb ,once again the flowers «cosmos I think» are beautiful and the selective coloring well thought with the b&w faces ,you have a fantastic imagination.YOU CAN ALSO PUT THAT CREATION IN «SELECTIVE COLORING» GROUP. JUST AN IDEA…
