Artist's Description

This is Alex, the baby of my 6 cats. Alex is the only one of my cats that is allowed outside, he kinda of insists on it but it goes against my better judgement as we have lost a couple of cats up here in these mountains due to mountain lions. Alex has convinced me to let him out by always staying right there with us so he is out but he is being supervised, when we go in so does he. He is really a bright cat, he never runs off, I am totally amazed by this actually.

On this day he climbed up on top of my daughters swing set, which is where he is in this photograph. Before I took this photograph he was trying to get Haley’s swing as she was swinging…too cute.

Here he looks like he is making a wish or looking for birds to catch…I’m going with making a wish because he is not allowed to catch birds. LOL

Update to this Story.

Alex doesn’t go outside anymore, nor does he want to because our dogs chase him down and he doesn’t like it. The dogs don’t hurt him, they are trying to get him back inside because they are so use to the no cat outside rule. LOL no joke, they herd him back in the door. He doesn’t want out now which is better.
