Gotcha

More from Odin’s Temple of the Tiger at Six Flags Marine World Discovery Kingdom.
These swimming Tigers are remarkable.

A century ago there were about 100,000 tigers in the wild. Now there are just 2,500 adults, with the Bengal
variety almost extinct. None has been seen in the wild since the last white tiger was shot and killed in 1958.

Gotcha belongs to the following groups:

All Animals Great And Small., Animal Kingdom, Animal Photography -*4 legged & furry shots Only*, Animals in Action two a day , Big Cats, For the Love of Cats , 1 image a day , Good News Group - Sharing & Caring, Live and Let Live, Photography Fun, Playful Photogenic Animals, Tiger, Tiger (DON'T forget to ENTER our new Challege) and Unlimited Quality Available for sale as

HE is really something! I just love him. Most people never think of tigers as swimmers but they are some of the best swimmers in the animal kingdom!

So true. I never really thought of tigers as swimmers myself, I have six house cats and when they get even a little wet they act all injured and abused, it’s pathetic. I always figured the big cats were similar…I was wrong.
I am so in love with these tiger boys…really. Seeing them first hand under water was amazing to me, I am so glad I went to see them…memories.

yes Tigers LOVe the water it is well known that if one is stacking you and you go in your boat and try to row away, he or she will jump in the water and go after you, even jump in the boat and tip it over then drag you back to land. They really do! lol There is one other cat that likes water too, the jagwire (sp lol sory) They are also known for swimming, but I don’t think they dive like Tigers do. Tigers will ever go after a crock who has stolen their meal and tryed to eat it in the water. yep they are water babies for sure. lol
