The Goddess of all things Botanical!
Mixed Media collage/assemblage, on canvas board, cream mat and gilt frame.
With thanks to Sandro Botticelli. This Flora portrait is based on her figure depicted in the famous Botticelli painting, “Spring” (Primavera) c1478, in the Uffizi Gallery, Florence.
There is a lot of dried “flora” in this work – mostly “natives” from the Australian bush. Plus a few “exotic” touches, ie – acorns, cones, lavender and rose petals…. and an insect or two!

SOLD.
