Well not really a purple tongue lizard, that is just the colour of the flower it is eating. This is a sleepy lizard also known in other states of Australia as a blue tongue lizard or a shingleback lizard.
I found this lizard this morning on the Oyster Walk in the Kellidie Conservation Park section, Coffin Bay, South Australia.
