A really break in the weather, provided the opportunity to shoot the River Tees in Spring Spate, ripping over Broken Scar Weir. The Peat Moorlands from whence the River rises adds the lovely honey toned peat stain to the water.
Location: Broken Scar Weir, Darlington, County Durham,North East England. 11th May 2012.
Canon 550d, Tokina 11-16 mm UWA Glass @ f’/11
( recovered from my dried out, semi working Camera)

Derek, it worked long enough to get the pictures off. Today the LCD screen has totally packed up, making it unusable. Having it looked at, but if the repair costs = half it’s value, I’m writing it off !
