A big thank you to both hosts (Anna and Sybille) for the wonderful exposure my stuff is getting from your group. I really, really appreciate it very much and keeps me inspired and motivated to grow in my “phototaking” hobby !!RegardsElmana
a big thanks to you for the feature – sincerely appreciated !
thank you !
May I ask what medium was used? The final product is arrestingly beautiful!
Thanks for the nice comment. The original is a photo of marble hands. I did some cut and paste and smudging with Irfanview and Microsoft Photo Editor. I find this process too tedious, so I rather stick to as original as possible.
This image stikes a powerful cord within…great image
thanks for the visit – much appreciated !!
iamelmana: thank you sincerely for all of the info. May I add that now that I know what you used, I am even more impressed, the picture looks so seamless and divine it’s to me, the equivalent of immaculate artistic conception (I know, explain right,…lol). What I mean to say is, it’s almost so perfect that it must have just been breathed into existence. I am sincerely glad to know an artist with such depth and vision. I normally do not wax so complimentary, but for some reason this really spoke to me. I believe I favorited it before I even commented, if not I will have to rectify that in short order. May I also ask, How do you find Irfanview, is it easy to operate, how does it compare to other software you have tried?
WOW, great to have met such an insightful mind/spirit. From your portfolio I can conclude (?) that you are an artist with depth – only to be brought about by having experienced the light and the dark (the good and the bad) of this human experience, called Life. That’s a great gift to be cherished !! On a more technical point, I think Irfanview comes with my camera (Sony) and I honestly admit to being technologically impaired. My daughter studied Photography and she’s got the “big guns” For me, well, Photoshop etc. is simply to overwhelming – I have to keep it real simple or else I go all haywire…Have a look at “Dancing on my Grave” which I did in the same manner as “Letting go”. But that was it, I prefer real painting to digital “painting”Go well and I like your art and writing – keep it up !!
Thank you so very much. I appreciate all the kind words and the commitment to responding. (-: see you around the bubble.
