Scott's View, The Eildons, Scottish Borders by

Scott’s View, The Eildons, Scottish Borders. Nikon D700 and 17-35mm Lens at 35mm focal length. 1/640 of a second at f2.8 and ISO 200.

Self Taught Amateur Landscape photographer, Outdoor Enthusiast/Hill Walker, Civil Engineer. Love film and digital, both still have their place.

Given my first camera by my father in 1977 when I started High School- an old Yashica Rangefinder-I wish I still had it.

Dabbled a bit in photography whllst at University, but took it up more seriously in 2005 when I picked up my first digital camera. Can only afford to shoot film if I process it myself.

I love this view Iain – Used to go there regularly when I lived in Melrose. Stunning image

  • Colin, sorry for the late reply, I like to visit here a lot myself. It’s a shame though that the standing stone on the hillside above this has been knocked down, I would have loved to have had it in the foreground.
