The fireworks were forced to end early after the barge got set on fire. I was lucky enough to snap this shot.

I didn’t go the the Sky works, But went down to the beach instead. The elements worked out great that night, with the fireworks, the lightning storm and Comet McNaught all visible on the night!
i think they had the bit about the barge catching on fire on one of the police shows on during the week – very interesting to see this
