This is another shot I took while out driving with friend Cole Stockman I’d actually seen him do something similar a few weeks earlier and thought I’d experiment with shooting long exposures out of a moving car too.
This was taken along the Eastlink Tollway. It was supposed to be a freeway but the government lied. How surprising…
Regardless of the deception in building the road, the blue lights of the toll gate certainly are pretty when put into high speed motion blur. Not that we were driving too fast. Nooo, you wouldn’t want to do that with all the speed cameras stealing more money along the tollroad.
Come to think of it, how do they allow speed cameras on a private road? Oh yeah, silly me, they created a law to allow it for that other great tollway we have, the Citylink. They even named it after the road, “The Citylink Act”.
But of course, it’s not really a private road seeing as it was funded with tax payer money. But who gets the profits I wonder???
Enough of the politics…
