This photo was taken on the outskirts of Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, on one of my many driving expeditions.

While I was grading the shot in Photoshop, I got a little carried away with experimenting which resulted in this magical bolt of plasma lightning wrapping around the silhouetted branch.
