In spite of your wonderful images, it must have been sad to see such a great place in ruins!

  • It was more unbelievable to see it all abandoned…
    Thanks Kim :)

Awesome HDR Evelina, you are lucky to have so many abandoned buildings in your area to photograph..

  • Thanks a lot Peter! Actually I shot them all in one place. It’s a resort and I only visited 2 buildings… To shot entire place I’d need to spend a week there :)

Another great shot from Grossingers Evelyn. I like the combination of the obviously discarded site and the still quite recent condition of these floats on the rope and the lounger in one of your other shots. It’s a kind of ‘Limbo’ state. Do you understand what I mean? (not sure if I do myself!)

  • I understand :) It was hard for me to believe it too… Not sure how something were completely destroyed and other in pretty decent condition…

Well observed and captured image of how society discards so much so quickly. A great feeling of sadness from the image as one thinks of all of the people who really enjoyed themselves in that pool. P.

  • This used to be a very famous resort fancied by celebrities… Everything comes to an end I guess..
Something for me to shoot at least :)
