The F/A 18 Super Hornet was back tracking runway one eight at Avalon.
They pilot has lifted the canopy and was waving at the crowd, I noticed the Weapons System Officer was leaning out and looking behind him?
I looked where he was looking, and I could see nothing standing out!
He might have seen a friendly face in crowd.. however it did look odd, so that’s why I took this shot.
