A mirror lake it is indeed – I know it’s common to see lakes reflecting the surroundings, but there is something really cool about this one – maybe it’s the way the reflection is white with pastel hues, in contrast to the surrounding land in dark tones that are more neutral. It is common to see lake reflection in bright colourful contexts, and as beautiful as those are, a darker, and more toned down context, or one that is more faded, can be just as striking.
Thank you Mui-Ling, it’s always a pleasure to read your take, on my creations. Generally in my explorations I reach a ’that’s it’ point and that is when I save it as a jpeg. Never really know when that point arrives until it does . . . :-D
