Well today will be my last day on Redbubble for a little over 3 weeks. It’s that time again, I have to head back to Oz to fulfil my obligations to Centrelink, the Aussie pension people.

I leave the village at about 7.00 am tomorrow morning and catch a truck bus to the Provincial Capital, Kalasin, (1 hour 40) where I’ll catch another bus to Khon Kaen (a little over an hour). There I’ll get a 350 Baht (maybe US$11) VIP coach to take me down to Bangkok (6 hours).

The VIP busses are really quite good with large comfortable lay back seats, with calf support and built in massage unit. If you want to see some of Thailand this is a recommended way to travel, cheap, comfortable and you get to see something.

Anyway, I should be in Krungtep (Bangkok) late afternoon and at my hotel, which is out near The Suvanabhumi (sounds like Suwanapoom) International airport.

Then it’s One Night in Bangkok (maybe a good song title that!). Unfortunately I won’t be partaking in any of the delights of the Bangkok night life, primarily cos I don’t got no money. . . Never mind, I’ll have a nice meal, a couple of beers and maybe one last Thai massage and hit the sack.

The following afternoon I catch a flight to Kuala Lumpur and then on from there to Coolangatta on Queensland’s Gold Coast. Arriving at my friends house, where I stay, sometime around 9.00 am Tuesday.
