Guilty As Charged

Guilty as charged, feelings for you cannot be captured
Dry-cleaned clothes and your worn out heart, I wonder if it matches

With ovations standing tides of truth aborted
Landing naked up on the storming beaches
The wind cries wolf unrewarded
Your silky seaweed takes a mauling
All your discharged soldiers falling
Every grain of sand devoid of features

Judge and jury may have been laid to waste
Though with faith in faith I follow the race
Your audience stacked is still applauding
Raining down upon its own floodlit parade
But they all came back for a closer taste
So, for now I guess at least they got it made
