In the Dark

In the dark I find out who you really are
And not how you appear
Held up in the red
Your grace and cheek get drawn out
Your delicious thighs stand firm
Glistening with the glow of righteous fear
Sparkling groans of your eyes and teeth
The only parts I hear
Reaching out for your heart
You turn the other cheek
I kiss you on the forehead
You tell me not to speak
Then slipping me the cord
To your tressled treasure chest
I feel like I’‘m in heaven
Or at least, as good as it gets
Breathing in the echo of sweet nothings
With your potter’s hand in mine
I know I’‘m even closer than before
And I’m not bothered by expected rain
Or who is standing at the door
