H-K065

I had an image of you: a bird
between continent and continent
with foreign songs in your head
through lightning, rainbow, cloud

beating down the northern stars
forgotten lights on cruel waters
through snow, wind, darkness, rain,
with your one possession: song

And I saw you once in a strange dream
where I walked through intricate gates of iron
and asked you to translate
Gruppe aus dem Tartarus
