Blue Parisma Pencils tired together and placed in a glass to make them stand up. Using a Small LD light. ( one of those stick on little lights you get from most DIY stores as a way of cheating expensive wall lighting)

thank you – took me a while but i got it in the end
I am so glad to read your response, because i pictured myself spending at least a half day, or several half days……..just trying something like this…cheers!
All it is is setting it up on my desk in a glass, focusing the camera whilst a lamp is on. then i turn it off and switch to my little LCD light and take. it takes a few shots but not an entire day :P
This just goes to show you don’t have to have a lot of fancy equipment to make great images. Really nice and very creative.
So true! You also do not need the most expensive up-to-date, beast of a camera to do it. The camera i use now was only £70 and that was a year ago. Thanks for your comment H x
