This is a statue in the memorial garden of my old parish, St. Paul’s. It took a lot of fiddling in the darkroom to get this to work.

I rather like the simplicity of St. Francis’ message, a call to voluntary poverty, but it’s not something I’ll ever truly be able to follow; something I realize more as I consider his Way more.
