Good art is produced when the idea, the media, the artistic skills are combined with personal integrity…

Here’s a little about myself, I’m an artist/designer and like to dabble into pretty much anything creative. This year I been very busy getting my new website together Cassini Art http://www.cassiniarts.co.uk which will offer design services globally to both public and private business clients and also will have a gallery side to sell my limited edition canvas art. All artworks you see here will be available on the site plus other art based products.

My passion for art is really for contemporary popular culture stuff but I also have huge respect to the classic master artists of the past. I started doing modern art after being inspired by album art and photography. I then started to develop myself and experimenting to find the right medium. I loved what some artists were doing with acrylics and had used them in past and liked the ease of not waiting hours for paint to dry like oils. I then got into pop art and graphic art and feasted on them till I popped.

I then started to see what other artists were doing but were not stuck to a medium like Damien Hurst and Jeff Koons, just letting themselves express what was in their minds at the time. A great imagination I feel is paramount to creating art like what those two guys are doing. Love to have the money to really experiment with creating some huge pieces of artwork, lol maybe one day.

I’m also heavily influenced by music as well as art and always paint with something blaring out on the hi-fi. I have always been attracted to the glamour of the 60s and mod culture in general and as an artist I’m obviously inspired by other artists and much prefer the modernists to the old style classic painters, but appreciate a wide variety of art, the biggest influence artists I like are Andy Warhol, Ron English, Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstien, Piet Mondrian, Willem de Kooning, Damien Hurst, Banksy and Francis Bacon. Banksy art is a especially hot at the moment and for good reason as its so current and cool. I tend to work with sketches, acrylics, mixed media, stencils, corel painter, photoshop and love to experiment with new media. I’m a fan of simplistic symbolism in paintings like Warhol and Opie painted and some of Banksy art too also features great symbolism, lush paintings that are rich and great on the eye.

I am still burning the structure of my creative tomorrow. Art is for freedom and absorbing the backyard of your vital essence then broadcasting it in a dimension for the eyes. Keep feeling rich and much more than money will flow your way.
