This is, in my opinion, Houkart at its very best. Religeous undertones, but dark… superb detail, amazing character subject, awesome sky. I like the perspective induced by the brick floor, and especially the mist that surrounds the tombstones. And those wings would grace any celestial catwalk. Totally awesome!
