Great shot, it needs just a tad more depth of field but I don’t know what camera you were using to know if thats possible.
At least you got the thing, they all seem not to want to get their photo taken when I approach lol

Thanks for your advice Peter, I was actually using my dads camera for the first time, he has an all singing and dancing Nikon SLR. I just don’t know how to use it. As for the dragonfly, he was amazing stayed perfectly still (I think he was really really old) :)

Thanks Dave,I absolutely love dragonflies and had been trying for ages to capture one, It just so happened I was trying out my dad’s camera when this rather old dragonfly appeared. Terese, dad and I did the colouring etc so it was a bit of a joint effort, I am pleased with it :)
