The feelings that I felt when painting this were around the lust evoked when you so desperatley want to embrace another.
When you are just about to embrace in that first kiss, inches from thier face….
The way you lust for it, the passion it makes you feel all through your body;
the desperation and the desire.
The way for those moments NOTHING else in the world matters other than that hunger,
the human need, yet animalistic passion, the sheer desperation for another.
From the shadows she lingers, hungry with nothing other than her appetite for another.
She is in us all.
The painting reads:
‘So tell me where the beauty lies,
sweet like candy in your eyes’
Don’t we all need a little candy sometimes?
This is painted in acrylics using a variety of techniques and styles in many layers.
It has then had oil pastel used on top this to give a very ‘real’ and raw energy to it. that I wanted to communicate.
Although it is a print of the original, please note that the original painting is also for sale and the details of this are below.
This is a large piece of art and makes an incredible statement in both colour and design. It would look great in both home, studio, office or club.
The size of the actual framed painting is: 134cm x 72cm x 3.3cm
The size of the actual painting within the frame is: 61cm x 123cm x 4mm
