I have always been a keen photographer taking photographs of a variety of subjects. I also enjoy editing some of them into some form of artwork.
I gained a Business Studies Certificate at The Queen Elizabeth’s College Leatherhead, which enabled me to take a job as a Finance Officer
Just for fun, I have enjoyed doing “Open University courses”.
A103 An introduction to the humanities
T171 You, your computer and the net
T183 Design and the Web
Al71 Start writing for the internet
T180 Living with the net: using computing to enrich your life
T189 Digital photography: creating and sharing better images. This, if it is still available, is a course I would recommend to any budding photographer
In the past I have enjoyed watercolour and acrylic painting.
I had my own small pottery, for over fifteen years.
I suffer a disability, which keeps me in constant pain; I suppose I should be depressed and miserable, however, I am not, for I enjoy life to the full, and my many hobbies and interests, keep my mind off pain.
I enjoy exploring the countryside, the coast, old buildings. It’s not just something I like doing, but a passion; I expect to find treasures at every turn and what is surprising, I usually do. My wife June accompanies me on these outings, which makes them even more enjoyable.
The cameras I use are: a Panasonic Lumix DMC-G3 and a trusty little Kodak Z915
