This old farm building, with its old dirt road beside it, draws me back in time, making my imagination run wild. It would have been built when horses were the major form of transport, and housing them and a cart, as important as housing an expensive vehicle is today. I am intrigued by the windows above, a little too elaborate for a hay loft; perhaps they housed the farm labourers. I would have loved to have had the time to delve into its history, but sadly records of such buildings are sparse or non existent, and most villagers are newcomers.
