As I have said before, I am fascinated by red post boxes, and searching out interesting new ones to photograph. I found this one in the village of Corfe, whilst visiting the castle. Although the Portland, stone buildings are of a lovely colour, I think the BW background, gives my subject, more prominence.
In the past I have enjoyed watercolour and acrylic painting; ran my own small pottery for many years, however my favourite genre now, and one which has virtually taken over my life, is photography and digital manipulation. To improve this aspect of my life, I took a short online ten-week Open University course, T189 Digital photography: creating and sharing better images, in which, I am pleased to say, I excelled.

Nice capture…our mailboxes are blue here
I remember when I was doing an Open university course ,and getting very excited when we did a project on USA type mail boxes (the ones with a flag attached) as I had never seen one before. I await to see one of your blue post boxes
