The picturesque village and green at Selworthy are owned by the National Trust. Periwinkle tea rooms are the most prominent building on the green, and the most beautiful. The food and service are second to none.
I live in sunny Southampton,England with my wife June. Retired, I am able to dedicate more time to my hobbies and interests, which are, photography, photo manipulation, cooking, gardening, reading, sightseeing, chess, painting, a variety of music and computing. Up until I was fifteen, I was known as Les, and as I lived in Hooton in the Wirral, I became known as Les from Hooton, hence my pseudonym “Hootonles”. Since my leaving Hooton I have preferred to use my middle Christian name John.
