Until Eyes Shut My Breath

Whose face doth stare straight out from my soul
Been some time that I now no longer think
Two more times will mine eyes meet yours
That the ache of my arms I’ll withstand no more

I can find no fit of a name to you
No habit nor history is known of you
I cannot demand you stand by my side
Some passionate clash I sense with you
That not here tomorrow is where I’ll find you

Together entwined our body I desire
I’ll take from you that scent of power
What gift you will have I know not
Vaults of my soul please take as you may

Thing that I know
This rough exchange
Lives ever and anon
Up from the Earth
To have and to have

Do not stop

Until eyes
Shut my breath

Until Eyes Shut My Breath
