An exquisite, moving (as I took the image) sand dune on the edge of the Sahara, erg Chebi, Morocco, just as the sun was setting. You can see the sand slowly blurring as it flows down from the upper section on the right to form the next section and so it moves onwards, claiming more and more land.

Slight contrast/brightness adjustment to bring out detail.

    Wow h, this is fabulous. Were you in a helicopter and what are those little dots in the flat sand (if you don’t mind me asking)? :))

  • well, sort of a helicoptor of the desert (that is, a camel…lol) – Not sure about those marks, possibly small shrubs or possibly even Scarab beatle tracks, I did see some live ones there..very interesting little creatures. It’s the diagonal line tracks that intrigued me, possibly a snake ???
